Spec Tales was launched in the summer of 2021 by friends and collectors Jake Hull and Jesús Estrada. Jake and Jesús met via the comic collecting community on Instagram and quickly became friends. Since the launch of the show, the guys have interviewed some of their comic book creator heroes, collector friends, and up-and-coming creators.
